Ablation blends together elements from multiple genera's such as Synth-pop, Chiptunes and Industrial Metal. We intended Ablation to feature a catchy and fun, yet dark atmosphere. The main premise of Ablation depicts individuals who are voluntarily lobotomizing themselves in order to lose touch with their own emotions, thoughts, and creativity. Ultimately, relinquishing their humanity and free-will, with the goal of assimilating and "fitting" into a hivemind. Mindless drones within a collective, tasked to carry out the nefarious agendas of their institutionalized overlords. We hope the listener will draw their own conclusions and see parallels within their own lives, between this sci-fi premise and society today.
